Looking back several individuals and organizations had and continue to have a profound impact of my life.
Over the last 20 years each experience I have had gave me the opportunity to take away what works and
what doesn’t and apply it to life and business. Due to the work ethic of my parents I was driven to do whatever
it takes to make it work. I can see the same thing in my children even at the ages of 7 and 3. Over time I
have found that if I come back to the following practical insights I have a better perspective on life.
These insights have also helped me understand the dynamics of turning an idea into reality.

As we you prepare for this journey I would recommend doing two things:

1. Download and read our introductory Profits from Passions book as an introduction on ideas and how to begin thinking about your journey in a new way.

2. Read E-Myth by Michael Gerber. Gerber has several books on being an entrepreneurship and we will cover some of the concepts. More importantly is the big picture view of what it means to be successful as an entrepreneur. He doesn’t want you to just create another “JOB” for yourself, but a successful business.
